For men who keep slipping back

Day 0 teaches you nothing. Your loop does.

Every slip runs through the same five points. Learn to see yours and you can step out, gently and without starting from zero.

The Obsarve Loop

Every slip runs through five points

Here is one night, broken down. Most men recognise it.

1STATE

What you were already carrying

Tired, wired, lonely, flat. This is the fuel.

Five hours' sleep. Skipped the gym. No real conversation all day.
2SPARK

The moment it switched on

A time, a place, a message, the phone in your hand.

10:58 PM, in bed. Your boss: "Need this redone by morning."
3STORY

The sentence that makes it OK

Nobody acts without a permission slip.

"I'll just watch one thing to switch off."
4SLIDE

The habit itself

Fast, automatic, and longer than you planned.

11:12. 12:40. 1:47 AM. Gone.
5STING

What it leaves you with

The cost lands tomorrow and becomes the next State.

Morning. The work is still there, and now you're exhausted too.

Then it starts again

Most men fight at point 4, at 1 AM, with nothing left. The loop is weakest hours earlier. The free Loop Map shows you where.

Read it as a circle. The Sting becomes tomorrow's State, which is why willpower alone keeps losing.

See the loop. Choose your next move.

66

Why 66 days, not 21

The "21 days" rule is a myth. In a 2009 study at University College London, new habits took an average of 66 days to become automatic, and it varied a lot from person to person.

So the Reset gives you the full 66, with a coach beside you the whole way. A slip on day 40 doesn't send you back to day 1. It shows you where the loop is still strong.

Not ready for 66? The 21-Day Start won't make a new habit automatic, but it's enough to see your loop and test your escape plan. Keep going when you're ready.

An example journey

What 66 days can look like

Here's how the Reset can work on a loop like the one above.

Day 1

The loop runs the show

Every Monday is a fresh start. By Thursday the streak is gone, and so is the belief that change is possible.

Day 12

The pattern appears

The Loop Map shows the slips aren't random. They follow short nights and days without a real conversation. The scrolling is meeting a need: a break from work that feels heavy.

Day 40

A slip becomes information

A hard week, and a slip. Instead of starting from zero, a 60-second pause finds the Spark that was missed. Two nights later it's noticed at 9:30 PM.

Day 66

The new move feels natural

The phone charges in the kitchen. Most nights it isn't a struggle any more. When the loop shows up, it's usually noticed hours before the Slide.

This is an example, not a customer review. Real member stories will appear here, with their permission, after the first cohort.

Why Obsarve exists

Obsarve was built by someone who knows this loop from the inside: the Monday restarts, the heavy mornings after. Counting clean days never helped. Seeing the loop did.

Questions

Before you start

Is this therapy?

No. Obsarve is a self-reflection and habit tool, a coach beside you. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything. If you need clinical support, please see a qualified professional.

Who is it for?

Men who keep slipping back into a habit they have already tried to quit: late-night scrolling, porn, gaming, weed, or anything else that runs on autopilot.

Is my writing private?

Yes. Your entries are yours. They are never shared or shown to anyone else.

What happens if I slip?

A slip is not Day 0. You answer three quick questions (where, what came before, what you felt), and it becomes the most useful data in your Loop Map.

Do I need the app to start?

No. Founding members start with a Loop Map made from their journal entries, and get the app as soon as it opens.

Start with your last slip. It has a lot to tell you.
