This page explains, in plain words, what we collect, why, who helps us handle it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do.
Obsarve is responsible for your information (the "controller" under data protection law). Email hello@obsarve.com. We read every message.
Your email address, when you ask for the Loop Map. Your name and email, when you buy the 21-Day Start or the 66-Day Reset: Gumroad handles the payment and shares these with us. We never see your card details. Your check-ins, if you're a member: the short notes you send each night, stored with your email so they reach the right person, and your choice about helping train Super Intelligence.
Emails. To send you the Loop Map, the Loop Lab invite and reminder, and emails about Obsarve, including offers. We do this because you asked for them and confirmed your email (your consent). Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops them straight away.
Your programme. To give you what you bought: the check-ins, your Loop Map and our replies. We need your information to do this (our contract with you).
Your check-ins. What you write about a habit can be sensitive, and can count as health information. We use it only to make your Loop Map and support you. We never show it to other members or the public, never sell it, and never use it for advertising.
Obsarve Super Intelligence is the name of the AI that helps us draft your Loop Map. It runs on Claude, made by Anthropic. When we make your map, your check-ins are sent to it without your email, and a person reads every map before it reaches you. It is a tool for reflection, not therapy, and it can be wrong. No decision with legal or similarly serious effects is ever made about you by the AI alone. We use your check-ins to train it only if you said yes on the check-in page, and you can change your mind at any time by writing to us.
Kit (sends our emails), Gumroad (takes payments), Cloudflare (hosts the website and stores check-ins) and Anthropic (the AI behind Super Intelligence). They handle your information only to provide their service to us. Some of them are based in the United States, so your information may be processed there under their data protection terms. We don't sell your data to anyone.
Email address: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Check-ins and Loop Maps: while your programme runs, then we delete them within 12 months of it ending, or sooner if you ask. Purchase records: as long as tax law requires.
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. The check-in page saves a few settings on your own device (like your email, so you don't retype it each night). You can clear them by clearing your browser data.
Stays with you. The worksheet is a file on your device. We never see it unless you choose to send it.
You need to be 16 or over to sign up for our emails, and 18 or over to buy a programme.
You can ask to see your information, correct it, delete it, get a copy to take elsewhere, or object to how we use it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email hello@obsarve.com, and we'll answer within one month. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live, for example the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali in Italy (garanteprivacy.it) or the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK (ico.org.uk).
If we change this page in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and tell members by email.
